Sacha Jones has won through qualifying, to reach the main draw at the WTA Tournament in Pattaya, Thailand.

She is set to play Alberta Brianti of Italy first up today, with play starting at 3pm Thailand time. Brianti is ranked 72 in the world, compared to Jones at 166.

Marina Erakovic's first round opponent is fifth seed Sybille Bammer of Germany.

Erakovic and partner Tamarine Tanasugarn have beaten the fourth seeds Carly Gullickson and Nicole Kriz 6/2 7/5 in the first round of the doubles.
